programs in the country. Reporting jointly to the Board of the UBC Alumni
Association (UBCAA) and to the Vice President, Development and Alumni
Engagement, the AVP/ED will be a key member of the University’s senior
leadership team and oversee a team of thirty staff. The University has signaled
its strong commitment to alumni by including alumni engagement as one of nine
core commitments in its recently released strategic plan ‘Place and Promise’.
