The position is a joint appointment between the Department of Astronomy & Astrophysics
(51%) and the rapidly growing Dunlap Institute (49%). The successful candidate will engage
in teaching, pedagogical research, and related administrative work in DAA and have primary
responsibility for the development and delivery of a broad range of astronomy-based education
and outreach activities in the Dunlap Institute. Applicants must have demonstrated excellence
in both teaching Astronomy and outreach programs.
Criminology ( 2)

The undergraduate teaching for both of these positions is at the University of Toronto’s Wood-
sworth College, which houses the Criminology Undergraduate Program. The graduate teach-
ing is at the Centre for Criminology & Sociolegal Studies. Both units are in the Faculty of Arts
and Science. Possible teaching fields include Policing, Criminal Justice Policy, and Migration
and Crime, but experts in related fields are also welcome to apply.
Modern Hebrew Language

The successful candidate will have evidence of excellence in teaching Modern Hebrew Lan-
guage as well as experience in academic programming. In addition to teaching courses, the
successful candidate will have administrative responsibilities, which will include developing,
organizing and implementing the Modern Hebrew Language curriculum at the beginner, in-
termediate and advanced levels. The successful candidate is also expected to contribute to the
extensive outreach, co-curricular and experiential learning activities related to the Modern He-
brew Language program (such as the beit café be’evrit), and to help foster a vibrant intellectual
environment for the study of Modern Hebrew at the University of Toronto.

candidates will be expected to participate in formulating new curricular initiatives and design-
ing innovative approaches to the teaching of Mathematics. Salary will be commensurate with
qualifications and experience. Appointments at the rank of Lecturer may be renewed annually
to a maximum of five years. On the fifth year of service, Lecturers shall be reviewed and a

Major responsibilities for this position will include running the daily activities of an outpatient
acute neurology clinic in a busy tertiary centre. The clinic will maintain accountability for pa-
tient flow, and serve as a focus for excellent undergraduate and postgraduate training in general
neurology. The ideal candidate will have interest and training in advanced education and a
subspecialty interest in neurology including neuromuscular disease.

working with students at the undergraduate and graduate levels as well as experience in music
teaching at the school or community level. Candidates must have a completed doctorate in
Music Education. We are looking for a music educator with a professional background and
professional interest in cultural and global studies in music education. The successful candidate
will complement the existing expertise of our music education faculty and have a demonstrated
focus on traditional and emerging contexts of teaching and learning in school and community.
Possible areas of interest include global music, technology in music education, differentiated
instruction, inclusiveness-oriented instruction or music creation.
Paediatric Haematology Oncology

The successful candidate will share in coverage of the in-patient Hematology Consultation
service, outpatient Haematology clinics, Division’s procedures (lumbar punctures, bone marrow
aspirates and biopsies), and out-of-hours physician on call schedules for the Division and will
work in collaboration with the faculty members, nurse practitioners and nurses in the section.
The successful candidate will be provided protected time for research and teaching.
