Okanagan campus invites applications for a
tenure-track position in Population Health,
Epidemiology, and/or Biostatistics at the
rank of Assistant or Associate Professor to
begin as early as January 1, 2013. Candidates
with research foci in health services, community health promotion, health behaviour,
health disparities, public health programming, and/or health policy are particularly
encouraged to apply. In addition, the appli-cant's research program should be complementary to the expertise of the current
faculty in order to achieve the goals of the
School to promote human health through
interdisciplinary research and education.
Applicants at the Assistant Professor rank
must demonstrate a record of high quality
publications in peer-reviewed journals and
the potential to secure competitive, external
research funding. Those applying at the
Associate Professor rank must have a well-established academic record of independent
scholarship, including a sustained record of
high quality publications and an externally
funded research program. They must also
be able to demonstrate excellence in the
mentorship of graduate students, postdoctoral fellows and junior faculty. UBC is consistently ranked among the world's top 40
