The Department of Education invites applications for one tenure-track
position in Educational Technology: Digital and Social Media in Education
and Training. Applicants must be able to teach courses and undertake
funded research in the broad areas of e-learning and learning/media theory
as applied to the field. Applicants must have special training and publications
in several of the following areas: theory and applications of educational
computing; digital and social media (e.g., instructional simulations, games),
media design and development; human performance technology; and
social science research methods. Our program is grounded in a systems
perspective in educational/training contexts. Applicants should have a PhD,
industry/school experience and working knowledge of French are assets.

Subject to budgetary approval, we anticipate filling these positions, normally at
the rank of Assistant Professor, for August 1, 2014. Appointments at a more
senior level may also be considered for some of the positions advertised.
