Stephen Cheung is a Canada Research Chair in Environmental Ergonomics. He explores how stressors like
cold, heat and altitude can impair physical and mental function. Cheung and his graduate students work
out of Brock’s Environmental Ergonomics Lab, which has capabilities unique in North America.
Their findings teach us how humans can increase survival times in extreme conditions, from mountaintops
and glaciers to tropical forests and oceans deep. They are a vital part of Brock’s world-class research
We offer 44 programs, co-op opportunities and a world of possibilities — all in beautiful, safe Niagara region.
For both sides of the brain.
