In other words, U of S researchers are
developing a tool to test the safety of
chemicals more quickly, cost-effectively and
ethically to create a safer environment for
humans, fish, amphibians and birds.
With funding from Genome Canada, and working
with partners at home and internationally, we are
developing and commercializing a new genomics tool
to assess the risk of chemicals in the environment.
These Eco ToxChips are based on more than 300 genes
representing key biological functions.
