and scholarly research) and professional achievements
appropriate to the level of their appointment. All successful

commitment to the engineering profession by being licensed
as a Professional Engineer in Ontario, or by becoming licensed

CANADA RESEARCH CHAIR (TIER 2) IN
PLANETARY SCIENCE
Applications are invited from emerging leaders in the area of
Planetary Science to be nominated for a Tier 2 Canada Research
Chair at York University. The appointment will be at the level
of Assistant or Associate Professor. Applications are solicited
from candidates with successful original and innovative
research programs involving laboratory investigation of
processes in the current or early solar system, development
of measurement instrumentation, data analysis, or numerical
modelling in support of planetary exploration missions.
Candidates must have a strong commitment to research and
teaching, a PhD in Planetary Science or a related field, and a
minimum of three years of postdoctoral experience.
EARTH OR ATMOSPHERIC SCIENCE
